![]() Ask Mr. Milo Employee of the Month - January 2007
Alison Tucker, Vice President Editing Services "Being a VP at Ask Mr. Milo has been a dream job for me," said Ms. Tucker. " I have the responsibility of leading a vision and strategy that fulfills our mission, as well as the opportunity to learn and influence national business practices related to providing guidance. I am absolutely thrilled to receive this recognition." The advice business has been a perfect fit for the assertive, but diplomatic Alison. After founding “Ask Ali” in 1996, she quickly advanced in the field, joining the Editing Department of the Miss Manners organization. The “Ask Margo” group, recognizing her abilities, quickly recruited her to guide them through an arduous process improvement effort, which led to their rapid expansion of services to new markets. Ask Mr. Milo is fortunate to have such a talented and experienced individual leading our Editing Services Division. Alison is an active community leader, serving on the boards of the California Advice Column Association and the Alamo Improvement Association. She had been previously recognized by the California Business Times as one of the region’s “40 under 40” leaders. Ms. Tucker's writings are well known and she awaits the imminent publication of her most recent book, Seven Steps to Success in the Advice Business. |
