Ask Mr. Milo Employee of the Month - September 2007
Mark Carter, Senior Technical Advisor It is with great pleasure that Ask Mr. Milo, Inc. announces that Mark Carter, has been selected as September 2007 Employee of the Month. Mark joined the organization in 2002 and over the last five years advanced to Sr. Technical Advisor. Most recently he managed a particularly important project involving the transfer of critical data repositories from our external library locations to our current campus to expedite queries from our international customers. As a result of his efforts, back logs are now almost non-existent, even during the busiest times of the day. A co-worker remarked that "Mark can always be depended upon to complete any and all assignments in a timely, conscientious manner. His thoroughness and attention to detail reflect his concern for customer satisfaction." When individuals interact with Mark, he works tirelessly to ensure that their needs are fully met. On weekends, Mark can be found blowing off steam at the Alamo Model Railroad Club. Growing up in the shadow of the Southern Pacific provided a local-motive for this interest. In June of this year, Mark bit off more than he could choo, when he got side tracked working on the San Francisco Bay Area Train Model. Although busy at work, he still found subway to help on this large project. Mark has been promoting the hobby of model railroading for more than twenty five years and is the proud operator of the HO Scale Great Lakes & Western (GL&W) Railroad. When speaking of his avocation, he becomes quite passionate, but rarely loses his train of thought. Mark will receive the blue placard, that will allow him to park during the month of September, in one of the blue and white parking stalls immediately adjacent to the main entrance to One Ask Mr. Milo Plaza. |
