Ask Mr. Milo Employee of the Month - December 2007
Steve "Chicago" Barkley

It is with great pleasure that Ask Mr. Milo, Inc. announces that Steve Barkley, has been selected as the December 2007 Employee of the Month. He was presented with this prestigious award at a dinner in his honor on November 26, 2007, by Employee of the Month Committee Chair, Alison Tucker.

"The choices we had to make were difficult this month," said Ms. Tucker. "However, Mr. Barkley stood out even among our outstanding nominees.  He has consistently risen to the challenge of any task that is asked of him.   Even after hours, he makes himself available."  Added Ms. Tucker, "His years working at Ask Mr. Milo have been our reward."

Mr. Barkley has worked at Ask Mr. Milo for over eleven years and coordinates translation services for all of our departments.  His primary job is supporting the General Advice Department in providing real time interpreting during international client meetings.

At the banquet, Steve found himself wiping away a few tears as he spoke, stating the this is more than just a job and it is this type of recognition that means so much to him.   He noted, "I am appreciative of the opportunities afforded to me at Ask Mr. Milo. The work environment is supportive and allows me to do my very best."

When not working, Steve plays championship level Contract Bridge and recently earned his Life Masters.   He also maintains an extensive collection of water guns, which he started when just a little squirt.  That collection has recently earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

In recognition of being the December Employee of the month, Steve has received the blue placard that will allow him to park during the month of December, in one of two blue and white parking stalls immediately adjacent to the main entrance to One Ask Mr. Milo Plaza.
