Ask Mr. Milo Employee of the Month - June 2009
Will Pigeon, Chief Procurement Officer Ask Mr. Milo, Inc. is proud to announce that Will Pigeon, Chief Procurement Officer, has been named as the June 2009 Employee of the Month. Mr. Pigeon is responsible for contracting, purchasing and material management for all internal Ask Mr. Milo customers. Most notably, he has significantly reduced costs for products and services and consistently explores new supply chain sourcing opportunities. In 2008 it is estimated he saved the organization over sixteen million dollars through his innovative strategies. “I am both humbled and honored by this recognition,” an emotional Mr. Pigeon noted when receiving his award. Added Mr. Milo, “Will’s passion for excellence is an inspiration to all of us. One can only hope that we can emmulate his extraordinary level of commitment.” No coporate drone, Will engages in a wide variety of activities during his off hours. He has one of the world's largest tea bag cover collections, with some dating to the early 1800s. In addition he collects pre-1985 dial telephones and volunteers at the Lafayette Raptor Rescue Center. .
