NOTICE

This notice serves as a reminder to all Employees as to what you can or cannot bring in to work and plug into our electrical circuits in our cubicles or offices.

For your information, all circuits for offices and cubicles are set up for 20 amps and usually cover four to five offices or cubicles.  If that 20 amps is surpassed,  a circuit will trip and everyone on that circuit will loose power, which may have a detrimental effect on your co-workers if they are working on
their computer.

The following is a list of appliances that are not allowed in your offices or cubicles:
  • toasters
  • small refrigerators
  • microwave ovens
  • foot massagers
  • space heaters (space heaters draw 12 to 16 amps all by themselves)
The following is a list of items that are allowed in your offices or cubicles:
  • desk lamp
  • radio
  • pencil sharpener
  • cup warmer
  • small desk fan
Engineering will be checking all floors at One Ask Mr. Milo Plaza over the next few weeks looking for banned appliances.  If you currently have such an appliance at work, please immediately unplug and remove them from the building.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
