Subject:  Garage Modernization Project

Starting Monday, February 26, 2007, one of the two garage elevators will be shut down for modernization.  Only one elevator will be worked on at a time, the other elevator will be fully operational.  Each elevator will take approximately 4 weeks to complete.

This work is required to replace aged equipment that has reached the end of its useful life. The new elevators will be faster, smoother riding and more efficient.

For your convenience, stairwell #2, in the elevator hallway, will be open to access levels 1 and 2 in the garage and the fitness center in the basement. Directional signs will be posted leading to the stairwell.

A security officer will be stationed in the hallway opposite the stairwell, to prevent unauthorized persons from entering the stairwell and accessing the upper floors.
